Yes, we are back at Lansdowne Park, after 3 years away at Brewer Park, outside in the sunshine!
This past weekend marks the beginning of our season at the Ottawa Farmers’ Market. Even though the market went through the winter, on Sundays, inside the Aberdeen Pavilion, traditionally the market starts in May. It was wonderful being inside that majestic oasis away from the bitter winter we had this year! A big thanks to all the customers and friends who braved the weather to come to the market!
The good news is the market won’t be just Sundays >>> Starting this week, the market will be open Wednesdays and Fridays, 11am til 6pm.
We will be there baking and serving potatoes, pasties, freshly squeezed lemonade and locally roasted coffee (Poppa Bean of course). Why not drop by at lunch or dinner.
Then starting May 16th, the OFM in Westboro starts, 9.30am til 3pm.
And, and, we want to get our food truck out more over the summer…watch for us in Kanata, Algonquin College and at several events around Ottawa. Dates and details to follow!
Oh boy, its going to be a busy summer!!!
We have gone retail, or at least our pasties have. Our delicious pasties are now available at the West End Well at 969 Wellington Street West, Ottawa.
So, drop by this wonderful establishment, grab a coffee or bite to eat, and mid week pasty for snack or dinner. Heat them up at home and serve with a salad or by themselves.
Don’t forget you can also get them on the weekend (Sunday’s 8am til 3pm) at the Ottawa Farmers’ Market at Brewer Park, baked fresh, on site, all day…along with our range of hot potatoes and wonderful wedges.
OH, OH…our other piece of news….the construction is done, well almost, the Ottawa Farmers’ Market returns to it’s original location at Lansdowne Park….INSIDE, yes INSIDE the Aberdeen Pavilion for the 5 days of Christmas…Nov. 30, Dec. 6/7. and 13/14….then every Sunday, INSIDE, from January til May.
Hope to see you at one of these locations soon!

Just wanted to let all our spud ‘eads know that we will NOT be at the experimental farm for Easter!
YES we know, can’t imagine Easter and NOT being at the farm. Unfortunately after 14 years of being “the food” at the farm, another company apparently did a deal…and that’s it we’re done! All’s fair in love and spuds we guess…well maybe not fair, but onwards and spudwards!
We had a great time there, and have made many friends, and hopefully, loyal customers who will find us at all our other locations!
So locations, locations ……we have great and exciting things planned for the year ahead!
From May 1st you can find us every Thursday and Friday, 10am til 5pm, baking on the street at Spark Street Farmers’ Market
with our Victorian baking oven. Drop by for lunch!
Saturday will see us baking at Westboro Farmers’ Market, and Sundays at Brewer Park Farmers’ Market…busy, busy, busy!
We also will have the spud truck out at other locations (to be announced!) selling our delicious freshly baked spuds, wedges and of course our range of pasties!
Follow us on twitter/facebook and our spu-log, to see where you can pick up a freshly baked pasty or potato!
Yes, I know its been awhile…. oh behave yourself!
Easter came and went at the Agricultural Museum @agmuseum in the Experimental Farm, in Canada’s capital. It was great to see our regulars back and meet new people, all enjoying themselves with the farm animals.
It’s almost time for the Farmers’ Market season….

Then it’s inside the CE Centre on Uplands Drive, the Ottawa Farmers’ Market, Nov. 25th, Dec. 2, 9, and 16th, 9am til 3pm.
We are really X-cited about being inside, in a controlled environment, where our spuds and toppings can really shine!
LOOK out for some new and delicious options. Menu to be announced soon. Also, we are working on some new X-citing product lines.
The inside space will have room for 122 booths, lots to do and see.
Hope to see you there.
As we enter the fall season, we thought we should update our schedule!
We are booked most weekends into November and loving it! We are also available for corporate or private events. Call us.
Let’s see…our semi reg spot is Sundays, 8-3pm, Ottawa Farmers’ Market at Brewer Park.
Starting June 23rd, we will be at the all new rocking Manotick Farmers’ Market, 9-2pm, across from Watson’s Mill in beautiful Manotick, by the river. Good news!!! Extended to the end of September!!!
Also, on Saturdays until October 27th, we will be at the all new Westboro Farmers’ Market, located in the park on Richmond Road at Golden. This market opens from 9.30am til 3pm.
Unfortunately we will not be at the Ottawa Folk Festival, this year. As much as we tried, our ducks didn’t line up for this one, this year.

Plus, several private and corp events in between.
Busy times continue for this Spud’ead!
